Is there really any secret to niche marketing?

Seriously, if/when you find a good online niche, you put up a site and give them what they want and you make money, right?

Example: Let’s say in the video gaming niche there is a sub niche for Xbox players.

Do a search for terms with XBox in there and soon enough you’ll see what people are already selling to this niche.

As it turns out, much to my surprise, this niche has a high demand for Xbox cheats and cheat codes.

So, after spending 5 minutes figuring this out, you then put up a site and begin your niche affiliate marketing efforts. Put up a simple site that does a good job of getting new email subscribers added to your list. That’s really important and will be explained why later on.

Another example would be if you took a passion or hobby you enjoy and made that into an niche affiliate marketing venture that paid you for divulging information and selling items related to that niche.

So, if you were a fan of birding, or bird-watching, you could put up a site on bird binoculars or even just birding guides.

Once your site is up, then you start promoting things to that niche via email marketing or straight from the site. What most people do not realize is that you need to be a master at direct response marketing in order to make sales off your site from first-time visitors.

Therefore, building the list of subscribers up is of paramount importance.
