Dorset Holiday Cottage Review

I latterly got back from a weeks self catering Dorset. I had determined that rather than going to the beaches of the Spanish coast, we would keep our cash, take a chance with the United Kingdom’s weather and travel to the exquisite sands of Bournemouth and Poole. It seems as if I was not the only one as Bournemouth beach was crammed and with everything the area has on offer, it is no surprise.

This was one of the grounds that I resolved that my family and I would rent in a holiday cottage Dorset rather than a hotel. This meant we were fortunate enough to be able to stay in a place where we felt comfy and independent to do what we wished. The property was as well a great base from which we could journey to the local tourist sites easily. We were blessed enough that our country holiday cottage was set less then 30mins away from many of these areas.

The English cottage we stayed in was near to a local public house which we often attended, where we created a friendship with the landlord and his wife. We found out from the pub landlord that Dorset holiday cottages were widely popular in the region and that he regularly met people such as us that rented them. If you are considering of taking a holiday in Dorset then I would recommend living in holiday cottages Dorset.
