A Secret to Faster Potty Training

Did you observe that your child learns better with visual illustration? Get an anatomically doll and let’s teach her the so-called Dr. Phil’s way to potty training success in the shortest time possible.

When you already have a doll that wets itself, ask your child to name her. Then give it lots of water to drink. With your child, have the potty seat prepared and guide the doll to the potty chair. Pull down the doll’s big kid underwear. Do these while she watches the doll do the process.

Hold a party for the doll’s successful attempt. Incorporate this with your reward system. Have balloons and party hats for your guests which are your family members. Doing this establishes in her that the success in this training is such a big deal that when she is successful too, there is a big party that awaits her. Emphasize that she can have her special potty party too with her success. This will move her to make her best effort to the training process.

After doing the party, let your child drink plenty of fluids to officially start the training. Make this routine every hour to make her need to go more often. If your child commits an accident during the process, don’t get angry. Never punish her. Just take her to the potty until the attempt is successful. Practice more by going to the bathroom

When she effectively completed the training, finish your part by holding that potty party you promised. Have a celebration of her success to make her really happy. With each success, you are on your track to finally tossing out the diapers for life.
